Khasan district is unique. It was chosen by WWF as a model territory. It is also defined as a model district for tourism development by the Governor's target program. Relief, flora, fauna, warm waters of Peter the Great Bay, genial climate of the coast - everything here invites to the outdoor activity and rest.    

• Long sandy beaches of the bays Narva, Baklan, Boismana, Troitsa, Expeditsia;
• Abrupt and cliffy coast with weird tumbles of rocks;
• Deer park on Gamova peninsula;
• Sea testing station of the Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Science;
• Sidimi historico-natural complex on Yankovsky peninsula, Zaozernaya and Bezymiannaya "heroic mountains" near Khasan lake;
• Rich Phanza caves, Khasan waterfalls, table rocks, Red and Blue cliffs, Krabbe peninsula volcano;
• Unique water and boggy area of summer-birds (over 100 species of birds nest here, 32 of them are booked into the International Red List);
• Peloids of  Expeditsia bay (are characterized as absolutely ecologically clean at all measurements);
• Minonosok bay - scallops and mussels reproduction.
